| | Susan Lippincott Mack has more than 12 years experience in corporate marketing for high technology companies with projects spanning software, telecommunications, semiconductors, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and electronic design automation (EDA). She has experience with every form of communication for early stage startups through successful public companies. She has an excellent track record marketing complex technical products and has excelled in simplifying difficult technology concepts in order to communicate them to executives, press and thefinancial community. As the head of corporate marketing for Numerical Technologies, she managed the entire communications process for the 20-person startup company through its highly visible IPO and its eventual purchase by Synopsys, Inc. In the process, the company developed technical terminology that became a standard part of the industry lexicon, obtained substantial press coverage and developed a reputation for innovative marketing techniques. At Ambit Design Systems, Susan developed a highly competitive and active communications program that established the startup as the first company to successfully challenge a market monopoly. The company achieved a 98% name recognition with its target market over the course of an 18-month program, and was purchased by Cadence Design Systems for approximately 20 times its revenues. Susan also has experience with Synopsys, Inc., Cadence Design Systems, Cascade Design Automation, Cable Plus and Telephone Plus (both McCaw Cellular spinoffs). Susan has degrees in French and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, is active in her local chapter of the American Marketing Association, PRSA, EDAC, SEMI and multiple other trade organizations. | |
